Women, Food and Agriculture Network's mission is to engage women in building an ecological and just food and agricultural system through individual and community power. We envision a vibrant community-centered food and agricultural system in which women are strong leaders. 

Women, Food and Agriculture Network is committed to:

  • Building its reach, power, and impact by growing a dues-paying membership program that is guided by its membership;
  • Expanding its current programming, which now includes the Women Caring for the Land; Harvesting Our Potential; Women, Land & Legacy; Growing Community Resilience; and Plate to Politics programs;
  • Telling the stories of WFAN and the importance and history of women in agriculture;
  • Bringing inclusivity and diversity to the forefront of its work by ensuring that programming reflects and supports all members. WFAN is proud to actively work to decrease sexism, racism, and patriarchy within agriculture, and we recognize that there is much more we can do.

Student or Beginning Farmer Member: $25/year

Students or farmers with less than 10 years in farming can receive our special membership rate. Access to private listservs and media opportunities; discounts on annual WFAN conference ($25 value) and other women-owned business services and products; regular newsletters; and a listing on WFAN member page.

 

Regular Member: $50/year
