WFAN 2021 Conference Content ~ Access to Recordings

This year, our 2021 conference keynote, Karen Washington, drummed up fierce energy and momentum for deep food justice action in her address titled, "Food Justice is More than Growing Food and Feeding People." We heard from National Geographic sponsored bee-keeper and researcher, Melanie Kirby, during her session, "Bees As Seeds: The Importance of Place, Power, and Purpose in Pollinator Conservation." And, we walked towards anti-oppression words to action in Tracy Lerman, Natalie Hughes, and Lauren Shweder Biel's session, "Dismantling White Supremacy in Farm & Food Systems Organizations." And so much more.
