Build a Better Farm Bill: Farm Bill Advocacy and Action
Join us for a series of virtual panel discussions with agricultural experts across the field to talk about how we build our better farm bill. A farm bill where issues of workers rights, equity, water quality and soil health are on the table. WFAN will host four separate sessions throughout June and July to highlight different components of sustainable agriculture that might be covered by the 2023 Farm Bill, and offer folks the opportunity to share their concerns and questions with our panelists. All events will be hosted from 12:00-1:30 CT.
6/28 Farm Bill Advocacy and Action
As we gear up for a 2023 Farm Bill draft, WFAN will facilitate a discussion between sustainable agriculture policy organizers from the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition and National Family Farm Coalition to understand what is in the 2023 Farm Bill, and learn how we can take action on building a better future through one of the largest packages of federal legislation in the U.S. Registration is free, but please register separately for each webinar in the series- you will receive a unique Zoom Link for each session upon registering.
