Build a Better Farm Bill: Soil Health and the Farm Bill
Join us for a series of virtual panel discussions with agricultural experts across the field to talk about how we build our better farm bill. A farm bill where issues of workers rights, equity, water quality and soil health are on the table. WFAN will host four separate sessions throughout June and July to highlight different components of sustainable agriculture that might be covered by the 2023 Farm Bill, and offer folks the opportunity to share their concerns and questions with our panelists. All events will be hosted from 12:00-1:30 CT.

Much like the impacts of the Farm Bill, the impacts of soil health touch each corner of our lives as farmers, organizers, conservationists, and consumers; in this session, we will visit with soil health experts to dig into funding coming from this year’s Farm Bill that helps us mend our soils and communities.
