Communicating Your Conservation Priorities as a Woman Farmland Owner - A Women Caring for the Land Learning Circle

Join us for our first Women Caring for the Land event of 2026!

This event is intended for women farmland owners, current and potential, to learn about and discuss the unique challenges of communicating your conservation priorities with others. This can include managing relationships with tenants, family members, or other contractors. We are excited to welcome a panel of four women farmland owners who are ready to share their stories and the lessons they have learned along the way: Chris Henning, Ruth Rabinowitz, Palma Strand, and Sue Kuennen.

Our four wonderful women farmland owner panelists all have farmland in the state of Iowa, but we welcome attendees any location. This session will follow a Learning Circle format, meaning attendees will be expected to introduce themselves to the group and participate in the larger discussion, so space is limited. Because the topics covered here may involve personal matters, this session will not be recorded to protect the privacy of the attendees. Come ready to connect and learn together!
