A Calling for Clean Water: A Water Quality Conversation

Join us for a conversation with Jennifer Terry, a passionate protector of Iowa's waterways!

Jennifer Terry will be joining us for an conversation about the water quality challenges that Iowa is currently facing, the impacts of that on our health and commuinities, and the ways we can come together to protect our water. This will include a presentation followed by time for discussion.

Jennifer Terry is passionate about rural Iowa, with strong ties to the land, having grown up on a dairy farm in north central Iowa. A distinguished alumna of University of Iowa College of Law and a respected environmental policy advocate, Jennifer brings more than a decade of experience in environmental law and policy in Iowa. She has held senior leadership roles at the Iowa Environmental Council and Des Moines Water Works, where she led legislative strategy, policy development, public engagement, and strategic communications on issues affecting land, air, and water quality. Prior to joining the Hubbell Environmental Law Initiative at Iowa Law in 2025, Jennifer served led the Central Iowa Source Water Resource Assessment (CISWRA) for Polk County, Iowa, managing a major scientific initiative to improve water quality in Iowa’s largest watersheds.
