Women Caring for the Land Learning Circle

Would you like to learn more about how to assess the health of your soil? Maybe you are seeking advice on how to talk with your land operator about incorporating cover crops into your rotation? Do you have resources for women landowners that you'd like to share with others?
Join us for a Women Caring for the Land Learning Circle, where we will cover all of this and more! Women Caring for the Land “Learning Circles” are peer-to-peer meetings in which women’s knowledge and expertise is at the forefront of the conversation. You are the expert on your own farmland — even if you don’t have all the answers yet!
When: Thursday, May 4th, from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: Floyd Fossil and Prairie Park (1227 215th St, Rockford, IA 50468)
A light lunch will be served; please indicate any dietary needs on the registration form.
We will be partnering with NRCS for this event- if you would like NRCS to create a confidential map that shows how your farm fits into your watershed community, please email Josh at joshua.heims@usda.gov with the coordinates or address to your farmland. These maps will remain confidential, and won’t be shared with or by any WFAN staff unless you elect to do so.
