Join WFAN for an evening of networking with other aspiring and beginning farmers and help us ring in winter!

Join WFAN on Monday, December 20th to ring in winter with a special Harvesting Our Potential (HOP) event! Learn more about HOP, our aspiring and beginning farmer mentorship program, network with aspiring, beginning and seasoned farmers from across the country, and share your farm dreams story. This will be a relaxed, informal event--please bring tea, dinner, blanket, candlelight or whatever else you need to feel comfortable and welcome in the new season!

Time: 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. CT

More about HOP: Through our Harvesting Our Potential we pair aspiring and beginning farmers with seasoned farmers for a season of mentorship. Participants are matched with mentors who are involved in the type of farming that they are interested in embarking upon to get hands-on experience. Mentorships typically last 8-10 weeks and stipends are given to both parties. Skill building mentorships for existing farmers are also available. Mentorships are currently available in Iowa and Ohio, with the potential to offer mentorships in other midwestern states.
